Mary Marxen is a New York–based Production Designer, Actor, and Artist. Her production design work spans both film and commercial projects, with clients including TikTok, ESPN, Glenlivet, Jameson, and HarperCollins. Films featuring her production design have screened at festivals around the world, including South by Southwest, Tribeca, and HollyShorts. Her work is also featured in the 2025 Emmy-nominated series, Together We Can, produced by PBS and Sesame Workshop.

As a filmmaker, Mary has created two dance films featured at the San Francisco Dance Film Festival and the Sydney Square Dance Festival. Her film Mirrors was written up in Psychology Today. In addition to her work in design and film, she maintains active practices as both a painter and actor.
